Chief Pete Edochie, a veteran Nollywood actor, has finally spoken out about his son Yul Edochie's extramarital relationships.
Remember that Yul said on Wednesday that he has a second wife and a son with her. After 17 years of marriage with May, he announced Judy as his second wife.
Many wondered what Pete Edochie, who has previously cautioned against the dangers of polygamy and extramarital affairs, would say about the news on social media and in other sites of social interaction.
Many netizens went so far as to exhume remarks attributed to him on the subject, waiting with bated breath for what he would say now that a major member of his family had been caught in the web of adultery and polygamy.
However, in response to the news, Pete was unequivocal in his condemnation of Yul's actions, stating that they are contrary to his temperament and faith.
Pete, who spoke on Wednesday, proclaimed bjat son's recently discovered second wife Judy Austin persona non grata in his family.
In response to the scandal, Pete stated, "I want the whole world and Nigerians to realize that as an Igbo man, I never accept my son's activities and as a statesman, I only recognized his first wife as the sole verified wife of my son, the rest is barred from visiting my family."
He pointed out that marrying two women does not confer macho status on anyone.
Pete, who officially sponsored his son, Yul, for the 2023 Nigerian presidential election, stated that having another wife merely implies that one is willing to suffer and cause uncertainty among his generation.
"I'm not surprised that he had a son without my knowing. "A youngster who does not listen to his father ends up shortening his or her life."
Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin, a Nigerian actress, had a boy on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, the actor made the news on his Instagram page, where he uploaded photos of himself and his newborn kid.
In other news, Muoghalu Uchechukwu Judith, popularly known as Judy Austin, has responded to many calls and comments since it was disclosed that she is Yul Edochie's second wife.
Nollywood star Yul Edochie declared via his verified Instagram profile that Judy Austin bore him a son and therefore became his second wife.
"It's time for the rest of the world to meet my son.
His name is STAR DIKE MUNACHIMSO YUL-EDOCHIE.
My second wife @judyaustin1 gave birth to me.
And I adore him, just as much as I adore my other children," he posted on Instagram.
This resulted in a slew of harsh comments on her Instagram page, to which she quickly responded, "I am not embarrassed to declare I am nothing without you, Jesus." Have a lovely day, bunnies."
Judy Austin recounted her most memorable experience as an actor in an earlier interview with The Sun.
"My most remembered one right now is Native Girl," she explained. Because it was really difficult, and working with director Yul is no laughing matter, my sister.
