Mercy Aigbe, a Nollywood actress, has invited her social media friends and followers to get acclimated to her voice as she reveals plans to enter a recording studio shortly.
The newlywed mother of two stated this while criticizing Instagram's new policy of deleting videos featuring tracks belonging to artists.
"This one Instagram is eliminating all videos with songs, which song are we going to use?" she wrote. Na for me to enter Studio ni bayi oh. "Abeg, you should get used to my voice, oh."
Remember that the fallout from Aigbe's public brawl with Omolara Olukotun, a Lagos businesswoman known as Larrit, has yet to settle.
The heinous incident occurred during a star-studded gathering attended by Iyabo Ojo, Eniola Ajao, and Bimbo Thomas.
Lara, according to the actress, was once a friend who became an enemy.
Aigbe said that the entrepreneur had repeatedly insulted her on social media, despite the fact that she had previously patronized Larrit's firm and vice versa.
"I know Lara. I've supported her business, and she's supported mine. So I was astonished and perplexed when she suddenly turned hostile. I messaged her on WhatsApp and called a few others close to her to try to figure out why she had decided to become an adversary, but all efforts were futile."
The actress further alleged that Larrit maintained the feud during the event despite multiple calls to stop from other attendees. Larrit's constant yelling sparked their violent altercation.
Larrit, on the other hand, stated that she had issues with Mercy Aigbe because of her attitude since marrying movie marketer Kazim Adeoti.
The entrepreneur emphasized that Aigbe dared Adeoti's first wife, which is why she publicly opposed the actress.
She further accused Aigbe of "always playing the victim in public and playing the diabolical role behind closed doors."
"Your drama can be purchased by anyone. That's not my concern, but don't mess with me," Larrit slammed Aigbe.
Larrit further criticized Aigbe for her "audacity to insult, show off, and express many indirect signs" after her marriage to Adeoti.
Meanwhile, since their public humiliation, Mercy Aigbe and Larrit have been sending each other subtle signals via social media.
