M I

Mi Abaga, a Nigerian rapper, has changed his name.

The rapper said that he would be changing his name from "MI Abaga" to a new name.

The name change coincides with the rapper's current endeavour.

According to him, his new record is difficult and merits a new moniker.

"After over 15 years as Minister Incredible, I will be retiring the name "MI Abaga" and adopting a new name for my new project because my new record is hard af and needs a new name."

LightCast news recalls MI Abaga pleading for help on behalf of his colleague Eedris Abdulkareem, who is suffering from kidney failure.

The rapper begged Nigerians to donate and assist Eedris recovery, noting that the musician was undergoing dialysis in a Lagos hospital and was slated to have a transplant by the end of July.

He added that the kidney to be transplanted was donated by a family member.

"I received the tragic news yesterday that Nigerian music Icon @EedrisOriginal Eedris Abdul Kareem has been suffering Kidney failure and needs our aid," he wrote in his tweet. SAVE EEDRIS ABDULKARIM RIGHT NOW! Our brother has been diagnosed with Kidney Failure and requires immediate surgery. We have a donor in his family, and the hospital has scheduled this emergency surgery for July 27, 2022." Please share and support as much as you can."
