Timi Dakolo, a Nigerian singer, took to Instagram to share throwback images from their wedding day.
The musician pondered why they chose green and white as their day's colours in his post. He also spoke about the significant changes in their life after they married over a decade ago.
"@busoladakolo," he wrote. Come check what's going on.
Why did we choose this colour? As you can see, I don't love Nigeria today. Assume NA glo sponsored the wedding. Chai, we even accepted an offering. This agbada weighed heavily on me. See my papa, a young man since 1900. That day, that Yoruba lady Mc wanted to finish my money. "A mighty king's manner."
Timi Dakolo and his wife Busola had previously resorted to social media to share beautiful images to commemorate their tenth wedding anniversary.
Timi Dakolo reminisced on his Instagram page about how his wife still refers to him as a native Ijaw man since he enjoys eating garri and fisherman soup in the morning.
According to Timi Dakolo, his wife always claims the meal is inappropriate, and after 10 years of marriage, she has yet to answer who made the regulations that garri and fishermen's soup are not appropriate in the morning.
He wrote: ten years. And she claims I am a local IJAW man since I like to eat garri and my Fisherman soup in the morning.
She claims that is improper, and I enquire as to who made these rules and why. "It's not proper," is the consistent response. It's not appropriate to who NA? I always respond.
Ladies and gentlemen, it has been ten years and there has been no response. An IJAW guy cannot be separated from his Fish.
Busola Dakolo, for her part, celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary with a toast to many years of good health, sound mind, love, joy, peace, wealth, and abundance on her Instagram page.
Busola Dakolo wrote: Here's to 10 more years of excellent health, sound mind, love, joy, peace, prosperity, and abundance. @timidakolo@busoladakolo, we wish you a happy wedding anniversary!
